Mlsoft - VTSS
At the risk of being picky, the selling of VTSS came before S&P announced it was being removed. I think that a lot of people (myself, for one) shorted it in anticipation of its being removed.
After the announcement, it took a very brief dip, then actually closed higher on the day it was removed. This is unusual, as was the massive institutional buying between the announcement and the removal. I took that as an indication of unusual strength, and thus decided on my VTSS/SMH "arbitrage" play.
