Don't be too hasty to dump on Blaster and Guard. Guard would have been one of the baloons that was telling you that someone was trying to change your home page and asking if that was OK with you.
Blaster was absolutely positively asleep. That is the way it does it's job. (g)

P.S. I have a very limited number (only 3) of brand new MS Sidewinder Pro joysticks for sale for $40 including shipping. These are OEM packaged and work with all OS including XP. These sticks are the very best optical sticks (lasers not potentiometers so they never wear out) MS ever made and are no longer available retail anywhere. When they were available the price was north of $70. When these are gone, there won't be any more.
