Yes, as I stated previously, Chrome OS design documents show that a TPM should be used to store keys when available on the platform. For a Google Netbook, the TPM will be present.

I've seen no documentation that calls for self-encrypting drives for either Chrome OS or Google Netbooks. If you have a link to information that states otherwise, Doma and I would appreciate it.
