On the Chrome Google stuff, my post is clear, but to make it clearer EVENTUALLY, IMO, all client computers will require AUTHENTICATION if they are to be used regardless of the operating system.

Google, Schmoogle. The game has changed over the last five years. The SED drive needs to be managed/unlocked BELOW the OS level. That means that Wave will eventually develop software that works with anything they need to work with above the TPM and before boot-up.

The key is eventually. I don't expect anything in that area until we solve the Mayan calendar thingy. If we survive the end of the world as we know it maybe Wave will have the resources, but until then I imagine that our efforts go into id.wave.com, HP bundling, Acer Adventures, Asian OEMs and other stuff. Maybe we can add modifying and translating Google's OS to the list, but I'm not holding my breath for it in the near future. It will happen if Google is successful, but this time Wave will wait to see what happens first, IMO. The tide and sequencing has changed. Of course, if Google actually wants to pay for it -- it could happen faster. In NY and NJ we always say, "Hey, you never know!"

Having said all that -- as I and others have said before.. google.wave and wave.google plus almost identical WAVE fonts. I don't believe in all that coincidence -- Either somebody REALLY screwed up at Google or SOMETHING STRANGE IS TRULY GOING ON. Another Binary puzzle, but either way... its off in the future beyond when I expect we will be a couple of multiples of the current price.

It's an interesting puzzle, but the hockey stick's handle is far more interesting to me. We each have our own Wavoid interests. Google doesn't really excite me unless and until there's more evidence beyond the obvious fact that Google like MSFT supports TPMs. Hopefully, it will add a few hundreds of millions to the market cap unlike the $1.50 that has so far been added by MSFT and Bitlocker.

In this teeming mass of humanity the notion of being able to restore one's identity as unique as his fingerprint is beyond Helpful, beyond AWKsome even.

After all these years I am still stunned at the possibilities.

Now if I can just scrape together a few more pennies to load on this train before it lurches forward again.
