Lawyers get a reputation by winning for there clients. If OJ can get away with murder maybe XMDC can be proped back up to a reasonable pps.

In OJ case the DEFENCE LAWYERS job was to prove his guy innocent and they ENHANCED their reputation by getting a guy off when all evidence pointed at his guilt.

My argument has nothing to do with who is right or wrong, it has everything to do with this being scam or no scam, two very distinctive differences.

If this is all a scam I don't think reputable firm gets anywhere close to either side. In this case the OJ scenario doesn't apply.

If this is about who is right or wrong, then I think the reputable firm takes the case and tries to win. In this case the OJ scenario applies.
