hi sterling, welcome to cash cow,,,mooooo. with several type of trading here some like a certain % of profit from original investment.
it is done in volume from what i see.
some like 40% to 50% and then flip. maybe some deal with 20%
i'm learning too. folks here are very professional in their daily or near term trade.
i tend to lean on at least 100% if in same day nice % gain then a flipper is done.

Thanks, but heck, I am not only here to contribute as much and as best as I a can, I am also here to learn how to be a better trader.
I am more of a swing trader where the stocks I buy are more of stocks with a story that is maturing building to a climax or two or three. I normally buy them at or near the low and watch them grow over the course of a few days, weeks, months, or years if I am fortunate for them to move up in price. Heck, it just depends on the story.
