The snow level dropped temporarily this morning with overnight cooling.. with snow showers around 500 feet. However, the snow level will rise during the day before the main storm system comes ashore in the afternoon. Look for an increasing chance of rain by afternoon. Daytime highs in the mid 40s- too warm for snow. We'll see snow above 1000 feet late today and into tonight. Overnight lows will be around 35 degrees.

Tomorrow... rain develops late in the afternoon..with a higher snow level- near 2000 feet.
