Rinnai is not a direct competitor in that their Tankless Water Heaters are "GAS"... Not Electric.... I would love to have a tankless water heater but can't! Problem is... I live in a rural area that does not have "Natural Gas", and Propane is expensive and very inconvenient... I have no desire to have a large tank full of propane sitting outside of my house.
