Re: What type of bargaining position do you think they are in now with the health uncertainties?
Obviously weakened as too the overall economy and stock market and everywhere else one cares to look about. However, CTGI has a hold on patents and FDA/EU approved technologies that arguably have great monetary value. Why would ISRG presumably be interested as others have opined here and elsewhere? Why would a highly seasoned prospective management team be sitting at a negotiating table with CSMG?
PS: If you are seeking a price point for re-entry... Looking good in my opinion!
I don't think this about whether or not CTGI could strike a deal when above $2. I don't think CTGI was WILLING to strike a deal with someone there. At that point the lawsuit hadn't happened yet and the company fully believed it was going to bring LTC to market on it's own. CTGI had no reason to share it's winnings with anyone else at that point.
Re: "...you don't have Don to watch over the expenses."
Apparently, DR didn't do as well on that score as his apocryphal reputation for frugality would have it. DR's overgenerous allotments re LTC and consultant fees presumably bolsters that argument. For my money, I am more comfortable with current management group.
