Hogsgeteaten, interestingly I think we agree more than we disagree on this topic.

By the way, I've already seen the Frontline special (I actually saw it when it first aired, since I watch Frontline frequently). I didn't see the Ron Paul @ MSNBC interview (funny watching MSNBC in such violent agreement with a Republican), and they make a good point once you get past the rhetoric.

I'm always for more transparency, and if that's your full argument, then we agree. But I certainly don't agree with Ron Paul on everything, and I'm still unsure why you have such rampant criticism of Obama on so many other topics.

I think the real problem isn't with the Whitehouse - rather it's with the deadlock in the Senate. If it were just up to a majority, I think we'd have enough votes to get major legislation passed on a lot of things - maybe even a Senate version of HR.1207.
