Basically we are a Blue Cross preferred provider. So the insurance company provides cord blood options to a pregnant member and the company they recommend is Corcell. I imagine in little time (after this is allowed as a medical tax deduction) you might see Blue Cross paying a portion of the costs. And maybe there is a discount involved but I don't know.
