My sentiments exactly. Repukes howl endlessly about ACORN's miniscule Federal funding. ACORN volunteers rebuilt almost 2000 homes in NOLA after Katrina. Bush gave many millions of Fed bucks to groups like Operation Blessing who wouldn't give me one lousy bottle of drinking water unless I waited for and listened to a sermon.

If you do donate to Haitian relief, be very careful who gets your bucks. I gave to Doctors Without Borders and International Fund for Animal Welfare. There are a lot of excellent charities (even some religious ones) but there are also lots that will take your money and give most of it to themselves.

Speaking of morons, the teabaggers are at it again...VA's 5th Congressional District race is shaping up to be a re-play of last year's 29th in NYS. The 5th District includes Charlottesville, a conserv section of the Commonwealth and home of VA's resident bigot former US Senator George Allen. The teabaggers are getting involved in this race because the GOP candidate is not "pure" enough for them...we all know what ultimately happened in NYS's 29th.
Repub Congressman Eric Cantor donated $7,000 to the GOP candidate, enraging teabaggers.
