LOL—my characterization of Derek Lowe’s Sirtris piece as provocative was a tactful way of saying that I thought he was out to lunch. Lowe is vastly overrated as a blogger, IMO.

I think, unrelated to Sirtins, it would be cool to have visualization of a drug in a living body. A drug that "lights up" in the organs or cells that it is active in and that can be visualized in a magnet or uv scan, or with an endoscope and a tiny uv lamp. Or with a da Vinci?
