Knight has been harshly punished for its sins. The company, with $440 million in bad trades, lost 60% of it's market cap and has been forced go hat-in-hand in search of a cash infusion or acquirer. Less than 24 hours after it's trading error Knight Capital as it existed on Tuesday has ceased to exist. There isn't a regulatory body on earth capable of meting out justice with such merciless efficiency.
