You don't think that an interviewer would ask the name of the person they were interviewing...along with their position in the company?

HA!

I can just HEAR how the conversation went....."So Jonathan...what should I refer to you as...."?

I'm sure he would have said something like "Oh, just refer to me as a team member"!, instead of saying he was General Council for the company (which apparently he is).

Makes perfect sense to me.
