:IENT), the award-winning developer of the world famous WarBirds TotalSims massively multiplayer, military combat simulation game series, www.TotalSims.com, today announced that it had acquired Thriller New Media, Inc, a media development company focused on online military communities, massively multiplayer online games, interactive simulations, action novels, and action movies
IENT, known for its military simulation games for both retail and online sales, accomplished the acquisition of Thriller New Media to combine Thriller’s contracts for military action novel development with IENT’s online military game system, known as the TotalSims series of military online games
Thriller has contracts with three best selling New York Times authors to use their original novels for development of a series of massively multiplayer, military action online games. Two of the author’s novels are expected to be published by Thriller New Media and these novels may also be developed into action military theatrical productions
Thriller New Media has also developed a concept of an online military destination community portal, known as ThrillerHQ, where members can play massively multiplayer online military games, can get real time information and news about military issues around the world, and can purchase a variety of products including retail games, books, DVDs, and movies
Thriller New Media will operate as a subsidiary of IENT and operate all of IENT’s current and future military online and retail games, novels, and movies
