Try talking to Hands and report back instead of contributing to the nonsense. If it did start before 4pm today I'm sure he'll let you know. This is the so-called "no spin zone" so why would you try and spin something that's straight from IR and able to be confirmed with a simple phone call? Is admitting to being wrong such a bad thing?

Until he or the company has told you that production has started, don't say that it has. Doing so is misleading.
