RE:Optimists, Pestimists etc
A friend of mine was telling me about a book that sort of relates to this topic. The book adressed why some people were shy and some were more outgoing and agressive. My friend put it in terms of the cats she harbored (which are many). Some "new" cats will come out and drink some milk and some will hide.The book would make the point that if the more foward cats do not meet any bad fate(poisioned or attacked) the shyer cats would then come out and drink milk also.
If we all went out and attacked dinosaurs we would not now exist. Some of us being more fearful allowed the species to survive.
The point of this post is to say their is a reason we all have different personalities (shy,outgoing,optimist,pesimist etc)and it is desireable to the survival of us as a species.
