Hi Robo, who do you think start companies?, who start research and who sail out in search of ...... whatever?.

It's the optimist who brings this world ahead. Would I go too far if I call communism the most "realistic" form of government?.

Sorry to disagree, but without our build in optimism, we would probably have died out together with the Neanderthal men.

Your "rant" showed a truly negative outlook on life in general. I truly feel sorry for you.
I could go on as long as you did, or longer I am sure, but I will just mention a few other optimists.
Marie Curie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Jonas Salk, Leeuwenhok, Charles Best, Walt Disney, Alexander Fleming, etc, etc.
All of the above and many others imagined something that hadn't existed prior to them conceiving it. It was their optimism that allowed them to follow through and create something that was beneficial to mankind.
