For the record, I never thought you believed they were independent
and the "if" was for anyone reading the post. A big "IF".
Lastly, not to beat a dead horse, but to set the record
straight. Most all mainstream Protestant churches very much
believe in the confession of sins and most see it as a requirement
for salvation. Check Google and Wikipedia for more details
on the universality and the differences with Catholicism. It
was one of the issues of the reformation.
And more lastly, what are you doing in England (did I read that
right?)? If you are there, one would hope you can find a
better way to pass the time than to post on a loser message
board. LOL
