Wow, excel, ya preaching to the choir brother...nobody here who is a devout Christian or child of God, will not stand up for the Word of God...if you READ my post, I am seeking PEACE, OPEN DIALOGUE, Compassion, and the TRUTH to be put forth...we know
the Truth, the Way and the Life and no one gets to our Abba Father without His Son....once again I reiterate, seek peace..
that is it, nothing more to add nor subtract...I work in a very hostile environment with crack dealers, prostitutes, drug addicts,
homeless population etc and even then we always seek peace, open dialogue, truth, and righteous justice.
I ask that masko get to have his say and then we/you/tenac/joe schmoe can retort and or respond with the word...have a great
night and not seeking acrimony, vitriol or animosity from anyone, just seeking peace amongst the bretheren... †

#1 I never distorted the bible, I quoted straight from the NIV when quoting the bible.

#2 My thoughts on other writings as it concerns jesus are not an attack against your bible. I do not think my beliefs take anything away from the bible at all.

#3 As I stated previously, jesus changed my life, turned it 180 degrees around with just one verse of the bible, so i personally know the power of his words.

#4 I do know what love is, but I think it's you and tenac who seem to think lightly of the power of love with your Jesus was love bla bla bla quotes

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 " Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8, "Love never fails...." 13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

#4 Jesus needs no defender and I've never understood why people think he does.
