#1 I never distorted the bible, I quoted straight from the NIV when quoting the bible.

Yes, you have. By saying the Bible isn't enough to find out who Jesus is. That is DISTORTION. It is DECEPTION!

Post after post I used COMMON SENSE proclaiming one could read the Bible till the day they are going home to meet the Lord and still would not have everything in it revealed to them.
That is a FACT!

It is also a FACT if one starts to live the scripture in the Bible Jesus will become even more revealing to them.

If there are other writings out there FANTASTIC!
I'm no history expert.

But I am one of common sense and who is guided by God's word which has revealed when we go looking for other things it normally is because we are trying to find a way to get around being obedient to the KING of KING'S from his words in the Bible!

#2 My thoughts on other writings as it concerns jesus are not an attack against your bible. I do not think my beliefs take anything away from the bible at all.

It's impossible to attack God's word as it is the same yesterday, today, and when the sun rises tomorrow the truth will rise with it. it matters not who wants to attack God's word. it is and will be the final say. It will be every knee bowing confessing he is LORD!

#3 As I stated previously, jesus changed my life, turned it 180 degrees around with just one verse of the bible, so i personally know the power of his words.

I would have preferred Jesus changed your life around 360 degrees but hey that's just me. LOL! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh come on and smile.

#4 I do know what love is, but I think it's you and tenac who seem to think lightly of the power of love with your Jesus was love bla bla bla quotes

You say you know what love is?
Funny because if you really did you wouldn't make the above statement about Tenac and I because you would know the word love is one of the most mis understood, mis used word, known to man.

The word love like I have stated in other posts but you CONTINUE to IGNORE is not always a HAPPY LOVE!

But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24You blind guides! 25"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.

27"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. 28In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

29"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30And you say, 'If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.' 31So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your forefathers!

33"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? 34Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.

37"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. 38Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'[d]"

As you read the above you observed LOVE can HURT!
Jesus was never about being PC.

Love can cause division.





People read scripture and latch on to all the FEEL GOOD WARM and FUZZY HAPPY stuff to remember and use it to try to fulfill their agenda instead of looking at the big picture that love is more then letting everything just be said by whom ever without saying wait a minute lets look at this a bit more as we explore the depths of love.

#4 Jesus needs no defender and I've never understood why people think he does.

So because I disagree with you I am defending Jesus?

You can call it defending or any other word.

It is important to me that those that read this board understand they have no need to go off looking any where else from the Bible God's word reading any other books as they can spend the rest of their life studying the Bible living what God's word teaches and know EVERYTHING they need to know to have a FULL relationship with Jesus through REPENTANCE of SIN'S becoming a NEW CREATION IN CHRIST!

REPENTANCE is LOVE!

If one does that living the scripture in their life there will be no desire to go searching anywhere else because they will be so filled of the Holy Spirit they be walking on air!


BTW. For one who says they love Jesus the ONLY time I have seen you use caps for Jesus, God, is at beginning of a sentence.
You can scream I'm being legalistic all you want but my history of posts here will tell you I am FAR from that. then again maybe in this instance I am?

I struggle with this thought of should I mention it to you or not?

It does bother me though because of my love for God that his name isn't in caps. I do know some will consider that silly.

I have this huge respect for the King of Kings. Every breath I take comes from God allowing me to breathe the air he CREATED.

You will notice I never use caps for satans name even at the start of a sentence as my hate for satan runs deeper then any ocean.

Based on that I can see when some might think I'm legalistic in this regard and I don't blame them for thinking that way.

I just find it strange about not using caps for the King of King's that you say you love and maybe you'll consider the above thoughts.
