There are in fact two types of USCA shares, regular and restricted. We own the restricted kind. They both trade under the same symbol. Each type of share (regular & restricted) have a different CUSIP number. This number identifies the company and type of share. The shares we have are identified as dividend shares from CMKX and restricted.
If USCA gave us dividend restricted shares there would be a third CUSIP number because these would be different (have different parameters) than the ones from CMKX.
The CUSIP number is an identifier that is actually used when you buy stock. You key in the symbol to buy but the brokerage buys the stock for you by the CUSIP number.
