No that is not true, many down days recently we had more buys than sells - in some cases 3 to 1 or more.
One just needs to look at posts here to see the details

Today was the first day that seemed to change.
We did have a day or two where we ended up - generally with more buys than sells - and usually on a wash kind of day with the gain being in the spread more or less
