Only if the company trades on the OTC BB and files regular reports would an "Informal enquiry/investigation" by the SEC be disclosed. The fact that CMKX trades on the pinks precludes, IMHO, the company from disclosing if there is an "informal enquiry/investigation".
If SEC was doing a formal investigation of CMKX I believe that would have been announced...
Probably it wouldn't have been. Far as I know, companies aren't obliged to release the info in a PR. They do have to mention it in SEC filings. But of course CMKX isn't a reporting company.
