There is another reason why Jorge is doing this.

POOR NUMBERS

He's buying time to figure a way to pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

With next to zero sales what cash does he have to buy back with?

Jorge put out a shareholder update a little over a week ago. His PR/IR sent that to one of our posters today.
If I can count accurately that makes it 2 times.
CEO's have no control over price, buyers and sellers determine price. CEO's submit Filings and PRs, all of which is very public.
From there buyers and sellers run the show.
Doing a buy back, get serious, where is Jorge getting the funds for that?
If people like a stock they buy into it.
If people don't like a stock they don't buy into it, plain and sinple.
