The only thing holding her up is her own docket and the time constraints that causes. I am sure there has been an increase in personal and business bankruptcy filings in her court. For those of you who are thinking she is holding her decision waiting for a settlement... I don't think so. All briefs were submitted and oral argument was heard. The issues are before her to decide. We can skim through the briefs and cases, she must dissect and analyze them. Drafting and then editing a brief or an opinion can take time. It takes more time when you are constantly interrupted by telephone calls, docket calls, and hearings. We get to read the final product and don't realize all the time and effort that went into that final product. Seems to me her decision should be close at hand though. Tick Tock.
