I used MWbytes almost daily. But MSSE is more than an AV program. It also scans for other malware. Still, since I may lose internet access if infected, it makes sense to have a 'cannon' [MWbytes] and keep it updated.

MSSE keeps scanning several times a day, even though I set it to scan at 2pm on Sunday only.

I turned automatic scanning off.
