technically:

when a stock misses and gets hit on big volume... it usually takes several weeks to transition the stock from traders to longer term holders...

TBUS got shafted today -- earnings for 2009 is .12

but earnings for 2010 is slated at .24. You can buy today at 1.65 -- that's a pretty good deal. But I don't expect TBUS to go up any time soon. Transition time. Who wants to hold dead money?

A lot of people prefer 'live' stocks to value. May not make them richer, but people will pay for excitement and sell 'boredom' for cheap.

CNOA ... I think the full amount has been received.

However I didn't like that they only reported revenue & earnings from their 60% owned division and gave no information on having collected money for the rice division they sold last year other than the 1st payment they had already received. Something smells to me about these two items.

from the latest PR:
"Business Developments

On February 29, 2008, the Company acquired the California based Bellisimo Vineyard, for $14.8 million. This vineyard produces Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon wine grapes. On September 30, 2008, the Company sold its subsidiary, ErMaPao for a non-interest bearing note receivable of $8.7 million which has been paid in full."

CNOA: Too ashamed to tell my family.......

That I am now underwater on a company that sells FOOD in China!

How can you f**k up THAT investment ?........:)

I thought Pappys numbers were high but his low end numbers were possible.

A .10-.12 was more in line with my estimate.

Obviously no one thought they would have NO income from the other segment.

Thats as solid a kick in the ass I have gotten in the last few years in the market.....even last years meltdown.

Disappointing and agravating.

I am going to hang in there however. The cow is out of the barn at this point.
