i think its cause generally fridays are usually sell offs anyway for cash on hand for the weekend for brokers......but in our case i think it would be great.
The only kind I do not like are the news after the close on Friday. They are usually bad news. There is a reason why the FDIC always announces a bank closure on Friday after the close. It gives people the weekend to think about it and not over react.
A company with good Q or K rarely announces on Friday. Company with bad Q or K usually pick Friday. CFO resigning is also a Friday's favorite.
