That was my impression several months ago. TPG took over $2bn worth and the others including himself, the Chinese, and some others took the remainder ($5bn).

I thought there was some info on the mffais site referring to both of them (Bonderman and TPG). Any thoughts on why they arent showing under WAMUQ?

MFFAIS told me that JPM just bought 100+mn shares of Citigroup. Watch for a bounce in $C coming. I'm betting Citigroup will be issuing some good news here shortly.
