Of course I remember what happened to those pinks. They did not run they stayed in their consolidation mode... The news of trying to get to a bigger exchange had no effect on those stocks.

I think that is the problem here - IMO - the nature of the beast in the Pinks is when people see a PR saying the company is going to uplist they automatically think - 'fluff' - This however does not appear to be the 'normal' Pink. It hard for some to think that there is any company on the Pinks that could actually follow through because so many are just companies that say what they need to say through a PR to try to sell shares.
IMO this is quite different because normally with news like that, the company would be selling shares into it to try to raise money. In this case - the company isn't selling any shares into the news and won't be until 4/2010 at the earliest point.
I think the reaction from the market today will be interesting to see. I for one do not think the PR was fluff at all. I think it was good information. The application with FINRA to gain a sponsor could take time but once completed the uplisting should happen fairly quickly. IMO - this is great news in a bigger picture but fluff for those that are flipping for a few days and moving on.
