RWE saw an opportunity to be able to combine their engineering expertise with BEHL's engineering expertise and have a resultant company capable of marketing closed loop PBRs that can be horz or vert depending on a customer needs and budget.
Do you have any concept of how many PBRs it will take to mass produce oil? 300 acres vert or horizontal either way is not that much, its going to take 10s of 1000s of acres to produce enough algae to effectively replace oil.
Doesn't this imply they will be using BOTH systems to complete the POs?
The newly combined companies today made the announcement confirming the first one-acre-sized combined closed loop photobioreactor systems which will be based at the Georgetown, SC facility to accommodate and start the purchase order production.
