Tahera Diamond Corporation (TSX-TAH) announced today that it has filed a preliminary short form prospectus in all provinces of Canada in connection with an offering of common shares to raise approximately Cdn.$45 million. The offering will be conducted through a syndicate of underwriters led by GMP Securities Ltd., and including TD Securities Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Dundee Securities Corporation, Westwind Partners Inc. and Paradigm Capital Inc.

Tahera plans to use the net proceeds of the offering towards the financing of the development and construction of the Jericho Diamond Mine and for general working capital purposes.

The offering is subject to certain conditions, including the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.
