Lots of friends and relatives that doubted my "doom and gloom" scenario from a few years ago had gotten in contact with me earlier this year when the Dow was laying at it's yearly lows around 6500.
They were then wondering if they should sell?? They were a bit fearful in seeing their life's savings and work evaporate before their eyes. I told them it was too late to make an easy "sell" call with the DJIA down well over 50% ...
....my advice at the time was as "painful as it was" to hold on to your stocks and mutual funds and see if we can get you out at better prices(??) in the future.
In retrospect that worked out great... but I have made the personal call to them in the last few months telling them to sell out. This is a call "I can live with" and the best advice on the US stock market I feel I can give to friends or relatives I care about.
I also gave them a few other recommendations that I feel you would personally agree with Len...if you catch my drift here? (Kozuh stubby joke time.) I also told them to have your home stockpiled to the brim for at least 3 months of self reliance in every way you can imagine.
I think we go lower and make new lows on the US market in the next year...the US economy is in a shambles as the greatest delusionary credit bubble of all time has popped.
