EXPE low for the session, ROOM, NVLS, KEM, ELX, UNH, WLP, IBM below 70.. MSFT below 50.. very nice gains on the short side. Don't be influenced by those financial advisors that are trying to "save their as_es" and keep your account. They need to pay their Mercedes, Ferrari and Limo lease payments... and what of the blueprints of their new mansion? You will be counted upon to help pay the contractors and interior designers while your own standard of life is deteriorating. I have become quite vocal actually in my little area of Boca, chiming in when I do hear fellow traders, brokers and analysts preach about... "keep playing golf, don't you mind this downside, you'll be okay".. I used to be quiet.... no longer!

But I did think it was getting tacky with the "SOLDSTOX" vanity licence plates.

ELX KLAC,IBM amazing close in front of a rally! Well we're done with IBM for now, one if the biggest shorts/puts. Still think we have one "encore presentation" with KLAC next week but the plays I like now are the financials, pharmaceuticals, insurance... and not necessarily need technology just yet.
Can't imagine how the luck held out and every put and short was covered as late as possible. Seems we 'pushed out luck' a bit, but the positions were getting sparser and sparser and the feeling of parting with those puts left a void.
