You make a good point. I can remember many saying it would be like the great depression era. Where stocks sold off drastically and then rebounded just to slowly drift downward for a decade or so. Even though I personally thought that was the scenerio that would play out and I came pretty close to nailing the bottom I didnt have the nerve to jump back in. Could have doubled my life savings and with the right stocks done even better. With all that said I see no scenerio where the next 20 years even resemble normalcy. Dark days ahead. IMO!

...the market had the same big dead cat bounce before the last Great Depression in the 1930's?

What's different this time?

If anything(?) our economy and fraudulent financial system seems in much worse shape than back then.
