Why would mgmt do something like that? Here's why.

15 mil shares out for issue.

Mgmt lets price slide and helps slide by selling shelf shares.

Shares slip to $.60 or lower.

Big dog gets 2 mill options at $.60 for all the value he created.

2 mil times $.50 (dif from where stock should be trading) is $1 mil.

So poor mgmt gets big dog one mil extra.

Slime dog millionaire.

But we have an independent board that would prevent that from happening. Not.

At the ASM, ask mgmt how many shelf shares were sold between May 28 and Oct 22. Bet they side step the answer.

Some of you ask why wouldn't a disgruntled shareholder sell their shares and move on. Such a large influx of shares, even if placed in small lots, would hugely depress the stock price. I, for one, anticipated the sale of the company within the next year or so, assuming that we would move on to Phase III trials as soon as the current Phase II's are completed. I'm coming to the conclusion that we will not be starting Phase III's anytime soon, but rather will do more Phase II's, thereby putting off the ultimate sale for an extended period of time. The hiring of Dr. Chabner was carefully worded to include "planning additional trials" without specifying what level trials would be indicated. This will cause me, and possibly others, to re-think my investment timing. The wild card is additional government funding and the reason for the increased hiring at AVID.

Chey,

How many times have we seen supposed shareholders make definitive statements about what will or won't happen and go completely dark when whatever they said doesn't turn out the way they said it would?

Notice how these same "shareholders" never have a cross word to say about management's continued inability to not only build shareholder value, but preserve whatever value is left?

Not a peep after Steve let it be known that they sold into the only decent chance at getting and keeping this above a $1.

But, they sure as hell have a lot to say about anyone who does have something against management.

Shareholders? Yeah, right...

Regards,
