Can you explain why the Nixon white house did not use all these "evidence" against Kerry when the memories of the event were clear and succinct, when Nixon had a tight control over the military and when Nixon was mounting an open campaign against all those considering the Vietnam conflict a national tragedy? If Nixon could not find a flaw in Kerry records, when all those that were witnesses were still around with fresh memories of the event, why should I believe that what is being presented now as "truth" is nothing but the result of faulty 30 plus year old memories coupled with deep political division resulting in real hatred.
I think that you must admit that it took unusual guts and courage to go against an administration that even used the IRS to go after it "enemies list". Whatever differences you may have with Kerry philosophy, you should laud his efforts in the early seventies to shorten the Vietnam war and thus drastically reduce the senseless dying of our own young men and thousands of Vietnamese civilians.
