I've always dreamed of stumbling across some interesting, not too difficult, but also not too widely known aspect of computers being inquired about on a Computer Learning thread, and writing an incredibly tangled labyrinth of instructions that would take forever to decipher, even longer to follow, and much longer still to understand, but doesn't actually do anything helpful at all.

I've never done this. I usually find legitimate and honest attempts to offer help for Windows problems come close enough that my mischievousness dissipates.
