hi zeev and good morning to all. international law? is it working? a set of standards?
it isn't used but it probably should used to say we are the aggressor this time. we broke international law when we invaded the middle east without the u.n. but there were items presented and agreed something should be done about iraq. how the u.n. even got this done is beyond anything getting agreed upon with the u.n being always don't rock the boat. i wonder why they the big 5 didn't agree with us. was it the graft?
israel will become a state someday and i welcome them with open arms. the book says it started and may end there.

the restraint? would it be good to have israel in full battle with us in iraq? maybe it would be but then what happens to other countries there? they surely wouldn't like that. so u.s.a. policy for now lay back and hold the line against the terror between them and palestine.

our fault? i think so. yes , years ago everyone laughed even congress said , give them weapons and let them destroy themselves. well it never happened. one did take control of the middle east and is in their court system. will saddam go free because of his beliefs? he could and be sent on his way to russia. russia loves dictators.

Israel will retaliate and should retaliate for the Eqyptian attacks. As usual, the world will urge restraint. When Israel does respond, there will be condenmation for excessive force, and the Islamists will again call Sharon a terrorist. Nothing changes and nothing is learned. Because global cooperation is needed, we will never combat the very real threat of Islamism until the world understands that the threat is not limited to the US and Israel. The threat is truly global, but that's a message that's not getting across either. They've stuck globally against people of all ethnic and religious backrounds, including Muslims. Everyone is at risk.

I have never seen Sharon retaliate against a target that had nothing to do with the original attack, and I have never seen Sharon scramble to justify an attack after the fact.
