I will be glad indeed when you will be able to apply that "filter". I never found it necessary to "battle" with JM, since he had more than enough users standing ready to tilt at the windmills he erected. What took restraint was ignoring some of the ridiculous responses he provoked. Mind you, many responding to him did so sincerely and intelligently. But there were a few that entered the battle of wits unarmed. I most likely would not use a "filter" to eliminate the viewing of posts from a particular user, but I do champion it's inclusion here at IH because so many have need of the comfort an 'ignore' provides.
