Looking past the increase of the authorised share count from 300 million shares to 606 million shares, the interesting figure is the 6 million shares. 306 million shares is 51% of the new company. Why is this important?
Because it looks unlikely that somebody would want to sell anything from the 306 million share count as that is the controlling interest in the company. Now, what happens to the other 300 million, I don't know. The OS was 59 million in April of 2004 according to pinksheets.com and not many shares sold between 2004 and 2009 until this year. There was a 1 for 10 forward split of the stock in April 2000, taking the AS from 30 million, to 300 million. I don't think the float is currently very high (as evidenced in the whopping swings in the share price).
