roguedolphin: So you think something is going to happen on July 27, 2010 and 2012 is a distraction? December 21, 2012 is the focal point so little attention is paid to an astronomical event that might occur before that date?
Do you think there is an asteroid out there that is being kept secret? There is no way an asteroid headed toward earth would be made known to the public.
Say an asteroid that could not be intercepted would strike on that date. All astronomists worldwide agree it will happen.
From the time it was reported until it happened, the social order would break down. Countries like Sweden and Japan, to name two, probaby would maintain the social order, but not this country. It can barely be maintained now--absent an asteroid!
