well we can cut 100% of the interest if we quit spending more than we take in, a surplus that yes your guy Billy and the Rep congress had at one time. But doubt we see that

Now the problem there, Dems like to INCREASE the income side and leave along the spending side. REAL conservative Republicans want to reduce the tax side AND reduce the spending side, basically lower govt size and scope via REAGAN. Thats where we get into problems..

And no I dont think we could cut 50% off each, but the 50% number was YOURS
