1) You think we can cut 50% the interest we spend servicing our national debt the same way we can cut 50% of our expenditures towards defense???

2) You think we can 50% the social security benefits the same way we can cut 50% of our expenditures towards defense???

Just honestly answer these 2 questions and you can have your 50%. Cause it's like comparing your discretionary spending in buying extra stuff like shoes, cloths, TVs, iPods, versus your mandatory spending for your mortgage payment for a loan you took. As I said, you don't understand the difference between mandatory spending and discretionary spending.
