That would make good financial and economic sense to all parties and will probably happen, after all the lawyers have received enough already out of this. I figured $2bn-$3bn myself but it's all in the same ballpark. AMD need the money and Intel don't need anymore bad publicity, their brand has taken enough of a battering already.
