#28938 RE: gamood #28935

gamood, I'm not presently rallying for a revolt. I'm not sure I know enough about what has gone on to make a valid decision. But I guess that might be the problem. With the lack of information from the company over the last year, nobody currently knows really what all has happened.

It's the Board of Directors I probably have as big a problem with as anyone. They are ultimately responsible for allowing the blackout. What I think is needed now is a shareholder's meeting in which there is an open exchange of informatin (questions and answers) for however long it takes to get it all out. Trust is a big problem. And ninja is totally correct in his assessment of written public releases. If we don't have anyone in-house who can write a pr with all the right nuances, we'd better find us a good pr company. It will pay off in the end.

With all due respect, oust the lifeblood of CTGI?

If it were not for DR (and HIS own money), you and everyone else here would have already lost our entire investments, no small thanx to Greenblatt and his Chicago 'brethren'!

CTGI just barely escaped (a deviously designed) bankruptcy (and loss of ALL company assets), but no one seems to be THANKING Don for this. Instead, people are psss'n'moaning about a PR that didn't say enough. The word 'Ingrates' comes to mind.

DR is not the one shooting anyone in the foot. It's this board that keeps shooting itself in the foot. DR has acted perfectly as a bluechip CEO would act, given all that CTGI has been thru.

DR has now released CTGI (as best he could) from the throes of a 'connected' villain (and a 'hostile takeover'), even if said villain came away with 2M shares and other 'near worthless' considerations.

What part of 'EXCELLENT NEWS!' don't you all understand?
