Yes, I was able to transfer my stock out last June. Three tries and the next day, they took it back, then I got hold of someone that actually called the people I asked him to call and made a corporate decision (that has limited their future losses after I sold my stock (at a loss unfortunately).
But in the Scottrade agreement there is a provision for Arbitration.
Separately, for yourself, you could even send a letter to Compliance about your grievances.
I've never had my hand out for something that is not mine, but for only what their actions have cost me, which does include actual damages of what I have written.
Not for stress.
In other words, I have not contacted a stock attorney.
