#96139 RE: cashgrinder #96138

Who told you this part, about suing the FDIC:

When you sue them it needs to go in front of the Supreme Court

BS!

Boy, this really cinches my belief in your story:

I spoke to a friends father who is a partner at one of the many firms representing WAMU in both there suits, Ch 11, and FDIC... I am not willing to mention any names or even the firm he represents but will summarize what i was told in confidence. He is not specifically working on the case but spoke with another partner about this situation.

NOT!

Cashgrinder,

Good points. But may I ask why are you so heavily invested then?

Almost/more than a 100% gain in less than a month.

there is a major difference between Lehman and WMI that people are failing to think about. Lehman has 100b in debt so even if there is money left the chance of it coming down to common shareholders is slim. WMI does not have this same issue and with a settlement there will be plenty of money to properly pay shareholders. The fact remains that this company did not have to be seized and was stolen from the shareholders for the good of JPM.

Go Wamu...Pay us our money...

Please ask what his thoughts are about how "discovery" will affect the outcome...thanks!

***REALLY?????????***

Cashgrinder, thanks for sharing with us what this person (can we just call him Lawyer?), the friend of a friend of your fathers (something like that) shared with you. But I have a few questions if you can please ask him for me:

1) Is he saying then that BK is just a "dying hole" for companies? A place where they just go say bye bye to the world? A place where the Judge is nothing but a puppet with no real powers to enact justice?

2) Is he implying that, if there were a trial, the Jury is nothing but a bunch of idiots that could not hand down a verdict of say 3X damages? Is he saying that the jury would just tell the Judge "hey, why don't you just throw them a measley buck... let them buy themselves a happy meal..."?

I'm sorry, but was this a monologue or did you challenge him on some of these things??? I have to tell you that these are the kind of statements that reinforce my belief that it really wasn't all that hard for the Reverend Jones to get his followers to drink the "Kool Aide".

Ciao.

CashG.

Last mid day price for WAMU..was.. $3.35

And from the JULY MOR 2009.

Equity Value was ~12b$
Atty Bills to Date: ~35m$

And BK courts if they go long is 18 Months..
After the 25th of September.

WMI has 6 months left of the 18.

It is true.. No one wins when you go to court...

Only the Lawyers... Do.. Because they get paid first..

Good Luck and Go WAMU...

Cashgrinder, Your post is a short, and fresh approach to not analyzing this investment opportunity.

The idea that JPM is going to get out of this by stalling is nuts. The idea that the FDIC is going to take this to the Supreme Court is also nuts.

The holding company was damaged. HELLO!

Any dispute of this by any parties to these proceedings is nuts.

The BK court will see this, and has seen this and there will be some settlement. The 640 board members here are not the majority of stock holders in WAMUQ. No need to dwell on a more true or realistic point of view on this, in my opinion.

The worst possible outcome could be described as the contents of your post. I'm not preparing for that during this time of rise in stock price.

Are you? If so, sell!

This picture includes huge institutional investors.

**Weil, the top bankruptcy firm in the country, is not fighting for $1.50, lol. Niether is Quinn. There was a settlement on the table in March/April. This is a FACT.

Do you really think it was $1.50 a share that JPM walked away from and then filed the adversary? I mean what's another 6 Billion for Commons at $1.50, and preferreds paid in full?

Especially when they would keep 4.4 Billion in cash.

Be realistic - JPM walked out of negotiations over 1.6 Billion to make this all go away?

Highly, highly doubtful. But that was a very well constructed 'bash', lol. Which MM is getting nervous here? Maybe it's time to cover.

sonny, first off, if i recall correctly, i already dismembered one of your three posts already.

secondly, as far as anything to do with lawyering, and wamuq getting a positive result, heres all you need to know:

" ......mordicai... do you feel TPG will get paid? "

Posted by: mordicai Date: Friday, July 24, 2009 9:14:47 PM

I believe the holders of the common stock wamuq will be rewarded handsomely through share value appreciation . I believe FDIC will pick up the majority of the tab.

TPG GETS PAID, ABIGHAMMER GETS PAID !!!!!!!!!

and lastly, my best advice to you is to say your prayers, that DIAMONDGURU-ONE somehow misses this post of yours, and/or no one copies/pastes it to him !!!

Just to keep Weil up-to-date on what other WAMU involved firm's partners are divulging to the public, I have made an archival copy of your post(just on the off chance that the post may get deleted in the next day or two) HERE , and will send the link to an email address I have, for their review.
